In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
hpfs: fix a crash if hpfsmapdnode_bitmap fails
If hpfsmapdnodebitmap fails, the code would call hpfsbrelse4 on uninitialized quad buffer head, causing a crash.
